Deep Spa Cleaning - Fabric & Silk Cleaning
Cleaning a fabric handbag has to be done carefully and delicately. We will assess the overall condition then formulate the best cleaning technique and use of safe products to suit.
When dealing with fabric material cleaning, it’s very time consuming, because most of the time the cleaning consists of repeated process to wash away the stains without damaging the patterns of the fabric.
For example, jeans stain, pen marks or odour removal. Excessive cleaning agents and liquid used can cause stiffness and creases. So knowing when and how much we can clean is the precious knowledge that we gained over the years.
Disclaimer
- We do not guarantee the removal of any persistent stains. Lining that are heavily soiled may be difficult to clean to a satisfactorily level.
- Fabric cleaning sometimes can cause the colour fade or colour smudge. Hence we judge it case by case and advise if colour work is required.
- In some delicate fabric/silk, cleaning might cause fraying, therefore we will take the most gentle approach to clean it as much as possible.
- With age over the term of use, fabric can become worn and discoloured. The dirt on the leather can sometimes hide this wear & tear and our cleaning process can expose it. If this happens on leather, you will be notified and offered to upgrade your service to restore the colour to these areas. It is not our cleaning process that has caused this damage.
- Adhesives, defects, and faults which were previously camouflaged in manufacture may become more apparent after the cleaning process, and although every care is taken, we cannot always disguise natural flaws or totally remove adhesives, or other techniques employed by the manufacturer. All items are therefore only accepted by us for cleaning at your own risk.
